The Summer
Duvet Dreams are
Made Of

No more hot & sleepless summer nights

Why is hemp the best Summer duvet option?

Hemp has many benefits for sleeping. It’s great for staying extra cool in the summer, because it’s one of the most breathable and coolest natural materials – it’s even more breathable and cooler than organic cotton! It stays cool, even in hot & humid temperatures, all night long. It’s also perfect for keeping your bedding hygienic, without having to replace it regularly, because organic hemp is naturally anti-microbial and anti-bacterial. Also, organic hemp wicks moisture away, so you feel fresh and dry all night, too.

So if you’re someone who likes to sleep with a cover on – even during the hottest season of the year -, but want to stay cool and dry, an organic hemp duvet is seriously a life changer.

Sustainable, Eco-Friendly & Cruelty-Free

The Landon Organic Hemp Duvet is a 100% organic hemp duvet, with an organic cotton exterior lining.

While hemp isn’t common the world of bedding fillers, it is extremely beneficial for sleep. True hemp bedding isn’t something you’ll usually find that easily. That’s because of strict agricultural regulations in some countries such as the USA, and because it can be quite an expensive fiber to come about.

But,  it’s a great material for duvets, and even pillows.

Hemp is extremely breathable, highly anti-bacterial, and very resistant to mold and mildew. It doesn’t hold onto odours, either. It’s a breathable material, that wicks moisture away from the body, thus great if you live in high humidity areas.

Organic Hemp

& The Environment

Low maintenance & detoxifying properties of organic hemp.

No fuss. Hemp is a crop that’s naturally resistant to pests. It doesn’t need pesticides or herbicides, and even a very minimal amount of fertilizers are required. Because of hemp’s abundant leaves, which fall into the soil, they release nutrients and minerals. This creates a very healthy soil for the plant, completely naturally. And so hemp is actually one of the most eco-friendly natural materials in the world.

Soil Improvement. Hemp crops grow dense and vigorously. So, sunlight doesn’t penetrate the ground, and this create a weed-free crop. The roots of hemp plants go very deep, and hemp plants use ground water, and reduce its salinity. Whats more, top soil erosion is limited, thereby, reducing water pollution. The roots of the hemp actually improve soil, as it naturally transfers nitrogen and other nutrients into the soil. Also, hemp needs very little soil rotation, and the quality of the hemp doesn’t deteriorate. Hemp can even absorb toxic metals, emitted by nuclear plants into the soil, such as copper, cadmium, lead and mercury. So not only is hemp eco-friendly, it actually helps “clean” soils from soil pollution.
